Contract Manager [Hong Kong S.A.R.]


 

What you will do

Lead the Quantity Survey team to assume overall control on the cost and contract administration functions of our projects. Provide professional advice on resolving contractual issues and drive changes to improve the existing QS process/ system.

How you will do it

  • Lead and monitor the Quantity Surveying team to ensure the quality of work meeting the satisfaction of customer(s) and our company goals.

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a quantity survey management system for the company
  • Carry out contract administration, cost control, estimate and tender evaluation
  • Handle commercial and contractual issues raised from the projects, subcontracts and tenders including claims, disputes resolving.
  • Liaise with other department on project execution regarding the QS activities and carry out periodic audit to ensure the quality of work
  • Be flexibly responsive to any ad hoc duties or other duties that may be assigned
  • It is a condition of employment that all employees must be prepared to take up company assignments to work in China or overseas, when necessary.

What we look for
Required

  • Degree in Quantity Survey or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in the related field with at least 3 years in managerial capacity.
  • Member of professional bodies, such as HKIS or RICS
  • Good problem-solving skill.
  • Excellent in project planning and management
  • Strong sense in claims, cost, and contractual management
  • A good team player with strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good in writing and reporting skills
