We are currently looking for a Site Civil Foreman to join ourteam in Athens.
Your role will encompass:
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on the job site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules
- Lead and manage a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and equipment operators
- Monitor work quality and productivity, providing guidance and coaching to team members as needed
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on the site
- Review project plans and specifications to understand project scope and requirements
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, daily reports, and materials used
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and address changes in project scope
- Manage equipment and materials on the site, including inventory control and maintenance scheduling
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with the project team to meet project goals and deadlines
What you bring to the role:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is a plus)
- Proven experience as a Site Civil Foreman or similar role in civil construction
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools for project management and scheduling is a plus
- Valid driver's license
