This Applications Analyst position is within one of the financial sector's big players in Melbourne, with huge growth potential for both role and company. You would come in, understand the business processes and software applications to then recommend upgrades and chance. Then implement them in the most effective way possible.
This role will involve liaising with several key stakeholders in the technical, project, senior and sometimes third party teams. You will also report into the Applications Manager on progress and new ideas. In other words, no two days are quite the same, as there are also various applications to work across.
This position would be ideal for someone with good experience as a Technical BA or an Apps Analyst. Full Australian working rights are required for this position.
Your responsibilities would include;
- Identifying areas for improvement or fixes
- Manage relationships both internally and externally
- Monitor applications for compliance and troubleshoot when needed
- Manage project delivery of application upgrades
- Collaborate with architects and project managers on new processes
- Coordinate application releases and upgrades with developers
- Produce concise technical documentation
- Establish best practices
- Good track record in an Application Analyst or similar role
- Worked with CRMs or CMSs frequently
- Great understanding of the software development life cycle
- Ability to translate business requirements into obtainable objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Create technical documentation for future use
- Be passionate about developing, supporting or improving applications
- Grasp on user experience or best practices
- Worked in an Agile team environment
