Axented, an internet company that specializes in UI/UX, design, web development, social media, and apps, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. As a digital media juggernaut, Axented is looking for an individual who is passionate about finance and accounting to bring their expertise to the table. The Financial Accountant will work directly with the finance team to maintain and improve the company's financial systems, balance sheets, and financial statements. The role will require a detail-oriented individual who can communicate financial data effectively and develop strategic plans to ensure the continued success of the financial department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the technology industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial data to non-financial staff.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks or Xero.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of CFDI 4.0
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining accuracy in the company's ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded appropriately.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements prepared by the accounting department.
- Assist in the preparation of the company's annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights into trends and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the financial department.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
