Rodd Hotels and Resorts has an immediate opening for a friendly service oriented person to work in our Central Reservations Office located in Charlottetown.
Responsibilities:
· Take reservations
· Be knowledgeable of all properties: packages offered, room descriptions, facilities, etc.
· Be knowledgeable of all computer programs: package builder, golf reservations, EveryStay list, etc.
· Attend all site inspections
· Communication of all information pertaining to the hotels or golf courses
· Communication between the other operators, front desk staff and golf courses
· Prepare literature requests for mailing
· Be pleasant, friendly and understanding to all callers and follow call standards
· Participate in training and coaching sessions
· Follow all guidelines listed in the Employee Handbook and any that the supervisor has put in place
· Be knowledgeable with the EveryStay programs and assist in making member cards, mail outs, etc.
· Work as a team player
· Be a source of new ideas to improve the department
· Assist in mail outs and sort mail for posting
· Literature Requests
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Good Organizational skills.
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
§ Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Being bilingual in French and English, considered an asset.
The schedule for this positio is:
4 hours on Saturday and Sunday, 2 shifts of 8 hours from Monday-Friday.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: $15.00-$15.50 per hour
